I am right

I am right with God.  I am justified. Not because I am right but because God is right.
Romans 3:21-26

Hence, it does not really matter whether I am right about
-pre-destination
-scientific evidence for evolution
-what music should be played at church
-health care reform
-whether the Hubbard model on the anisotropic triangular lattice is the appropriate effective Hamiltonians for organic superconductors
-climate change
-who should have bought the milk today....

  1. Your argument seems to be that because you've been justified it doesn't matter if you have incorrect thinking in small issues. But if that's true then it wouldn't matter if you had incorrect thinking in big issues either (which in one sense is true - you can be truly saved and still believe all the wacky nonsense that Catholics teach about Mary.)

In another serious sense, of course it matters what we believe, whether for small or big issues. We must strive to know God better, and we do that by knowing the truth of what he did and how he thinks, better.

  2. To put it another way, while I think God may be indifferent to your 5th and 7th points, I don't think he'll be in the slightest indifferent to what you think about any of your other points! And he may even care about your 5th or 7th points, say if you kept a promise to get the milk, or went back on one.
