Excellent lecture on the Christian origins of modern science

This lecture by my UQ colleague, historian Professor Peter Harrison, makes compelling arguments concerning how Protestant theology played a key role in the development of science in the 17th century. I have borrowed extensively from this lecture in my own lecture on the subject.

  1. Hello Ross!
Yes, this is a train of thought John Lennox argued in his books and during the John Dawkins debates. That God created a predictable, dependable world in which scientific endeavour could prosper. Science depends upon replicability, how could it survive in a world of random events and chaos?

Hope you're leaving enough time for the coke/mentos experiments.
